Do you have Protein.....drinks?
I needed protein for my morning breakfast shakes and my lunch shakes and I can not see myself buying protein powder unless they are 50% off on sell. And so I started looking on the internet for protein powder and that was a bust. I rather have the protein and nothing added to make the drink or whatever you use protein powder for. Well after hitting expensive brick walls an idea came up, recipes. One website had a recipe but I for one cannot see myself using this recipe. But maybe you can. Use equal part of dried pea or lentils beans, oatmeal, brown rice and flax seeds all grounded into powder with either a electric coffee grinder or my favorite Ninja blender
The reason I do not like that recipe I make my shake the night before I go to work, and if grains soak they will absorb the liquid and I will have actual slimmie oatmeal type of drink, gross. But I guess you could add the protein powder when you are about to drink the shake.
Then I thought how about gelatin. Well for those who are vegan like my dear old cuz, you can use soy flour. Just remember to by the unprocessed, no other ingredient mixed in with the flour. It should only stated soybean on the ingredient. I tried the gelatin and I had to blend my drink for a good minutes because again the gelatin swells but afterwards it was a delicious drink. You can not taste the gelatin is orderless and tasteless But I won't stop there. I am going to make a mixture of soy flour, gelatin and for those who are not allergic to milk or who are not vegan I am going to use 1 envelop of powder milk; a 1/4 bag has 8 gr of protein. The gelatin has 7 gr of protein in on packed and the soy flour has 3 gr. of protein that is 18 grams of protein you can have in one meal replacement drink. Though gelatin does come from an animals it good for your hair, bone and joints, nails, skin, even if you have digestive problems, and etc.
If I do my own protein powder I want to get hold of some blue allergy like Chlorella or Spirulina. What I have read stated it has more protein than a 6oz steak. WOW. That can benefit the vegan and the meat eaters. Try it and tell me what you think.

Please forgive me for I have to recant on not paying for protein powder unless it was on sale, But with a good reason to on my event page "My jean dilemma". I still think using what you have or can get for protein in a less costly way is a great why to make our meal replacement drink. But for now I have to try to consume my protein without the extra fat, sugar, and carbs; like yogurt and cottage cheese.
